Seed mixtures - About our litter meadows
If you've already developed tennis elbow from throwing seed bombs because you love colorful flower meadows so much, the seed sprinkler is a simple and convenient alternative. It essentially works like a giant salt shaker , allowing you to add the necessary seed flavor to your garden, window boxes, or bare patches in your city.
To ensure even distribution of the seeds, we've also added some dry coconut granules. You can cover an area of about 5 square meters with this. Simply open the can and spread it on the bare soil.
Our hay meadows - the good thing about them is the good in them!
- All varieties contain high-quality, native seeds for colorful wildflower meadows. The name of the respective variety says it all. You can find a detailed list of all the species included in the product description on the product page for each meadow.
- If you store the Meadow Seeds in a cool, dry place, we guarantee germination for at least a year . However, if your stash of Meadow Seeds gets lost among all the ravioli and corn cans in your pantry, you can still use them after a year. It's possible that some seeds won't germinate, but there's enough seed in the Meadow Seeds that you probably won't even notice.
Annual or perennial...that is the question!
All seed mixes in our meadows are annual mixes . What this means? This means you can admire the wildflower meadow in all its glory the very first year after sowing, rather than having to wait until the following year or even the year after (as is often the case with perennial mixes).
Germination begins approximately 14 days after sowing. After a total of 6 to 8 weeks, your colorful wildflowers will be in full bloom, depending on the season and weather conditions. Shortly before flowering ends, the wildflowers will reseed themselves , so with a little luck, you can enjoy the next generation the following year.
Get to the pots, ready, go!
Unfortunately, if you don't own a 5-acre field, that's fine! You can also easily sow our meadow grass seeds in your flowerpots. To give you an idea of what to expect, we've listed the expected growth heights below:
- Wild & Colorful: approx. 30 - 130 centimeters
- Sweet & Buzzing: approx. 30 - 100 centimeters
- Peaceful & Dreamy: approx. 50 - 70 centimeters
This is what it looks like

A tip for all allotment gardeners:
If our "Spread and Enjoy" instructions sound too simple for you and you'd like to create the best possible conditions for your meadows, you can lightly rake the seeds into the soil after spreading them. Please ensure that the seeds do not penetrate the soil more than 1 centimeter deep, as otherwise they will be lost. This precaution ensures that the seeds are not caught and carried away by a gust of wind, or that birds do not eat the small seeds.

What our customers say

There were so many different seeds. I have a beautiful flower meadow, and every time one variety starts to fade, a new one with a different color appears. This not only delights me, but also the bees, bumblebees, and other insects that regularly visit my meadow. I think it's fantastic and will definitely order these seeds again next year.
