Bee welfare

Small contribution, big effect

Bee protection is on everyone's lips. And that's a good thing! We also want to help save and protect bees and are taking action with you. Since 2020, we have had our "Bee Welfare Products" in our range, which not only make a joy to give as a gift but also do good at the same time. For every product sold, a portion of the proceeds goes into a donation pot, from which we plant bee-friendly wildflower meadows in our hometown of Nordhorn once a year.

Previous projects:

• 🎉 Finally: Since 2023 , we've had our own flower meadows and are using the Bienenwohl donations to plant beautiful wildflower meadows in and around our hometown of Nordhorn. This is how we want to give something back to our region!
  
• 2022 We donated €1,231.17 to the Sielmann Foundation and its project to promote wild bees. The goal of the project is to create ideal living conditions for wild bees. We love it!
• 2nd half of 2021 We collected €1,631.71 for the Aurelia Foundation .
• First half of 2021 We are pleased that we were able to invest €2,452.04 in species conservation by creating important flowering areas that not only make Nordhorn bloom, but also make it buzz.
• Second half of 2020: Together with you, we collected a donation of €332.00 for the Aurelia Foundation . Although it's outside of the planting season, this is still a fantastic result, which fills us with joy!
• First half of 2020: Thanks to your help, we were able to support Mellifera eV's "Bees Go to School" initiative with €1,535.06. Thank you so much for that, it's amazing!
