Our rustic planters are a true piece of history, having been used as fruit crates for years in the Altes Land region, south of Hamburg, where they acquired their unique patina. Refurbished by us, they shine with renewed splendor and lend balconies and terraces an idyllic country-house charm.

About our planters

Not only can a plant itself serve as a real eye-catcher in your home and yard, but so can the planter you keep it in. Whether indoors or outdoors, in addition to our tried-and-tested plant boxes, we've created other great storage options that are both unobtrusive and unique, lending your balcony and patio an idyllic country-house charm . Rustic design meets handmade character. Our shelves, boxes, and stairs are upcycled products that have been given a whole new shine with lots of love and a little bit of skill!

What makes our planters so special?

Our planters are unique! We use old fruit crates and onion colanders and transform them into truly special planters. Our product range extends from simple planters and plant steps to wall and hanging shelves . These are crafted with love and care from old fruit crates and onion colanders. Freed from their original function, we give them a new purpose before they finally have to be "retired." What we absolutely want to preserve is their intrinsic character. This serves as the basis for the refurbishment and conversion to their new function as planters, giving them their unique rustic flair and nostalgic character . Whether on the balcony, terrace, on the house wall, or in the kitchen – the planters create a country house idyll at its finest and, as unobtrusive yet unique eye-catchers, fit perfectly into their new surroundings.

Upcycling products, what does that mean?

According to Duden, the term upcycling means "the further use of waste materials or used objects by converting them into higher-quality materials or goods." Sounds plausible! And sensible. We'll give you three good reasons for upcycling:

1. Upcycling is individual

You know the feeling yourself. Your best friend is wearing the same shirt as you again. Your neighbor has the same couch as you, and in the bathroom, you can't tell your toothbrush from the others because you all have the same toothbrush cup! We say to you: Be unique! Use upcycling to create new things. Design special items that no one else has. Create things that are unique!

2. Upcycling is responsibility

Responsibility for the environment, for our climate, and for humanity and all future generations. Because through upcycling, you not only reduce your consumer behavior, but also learn to appreciate resources more and use them sparingly. And that's not all! A nice side effect: Upcycling can also lighten your wallet and save you a lot of money!

3. Upcycling is fun!

Because breathing new life into things is fun! And creative. Turning a seemingly useless old object into a finished new product requires an idea, initiative, tinkering, and your own hands! You create something completely new with your own strength and can let your creativity run wild while you work! It's a fantastic feeling!
