Rustikales (vintage) Zwiebelsieb - Schön als Deko und ideal für DIY-Projekte (1)
A vintage dream! Our onion strainers are true rarities and true quick-change artists.
Our onion strainers have a history: For years, they were used in the Netherlands as flower bulb strainers or for storing fruit and vegetables. They are weather-beaten, but still in good condition. We deliberately left these rustic onion strainers unvarnished or painted, as they exude a very special charm in their original condition, complete with the imprint of their place of use.
Accordingly, some of them are several decades old, and of course, the ravages of time have taken their toll on these unique treasures. But that's precisely what makes each onion strainer unique and truly special.
We clean the onion sieves from the outside with a brush and compressed air, but slight soiling is still possible.
The wooden crates are still ideal for storing fruit, vegetables, and, of course, onions. With a little imagination, you can also turn any of our onion strainers into a great decorative piece. The strainer measures 75 x 51 x 9 centimeters and weighs 3.2 kilograms. The holes in the steel mesh are 4 x 4 mm.

We give smiles. With beautiful, sustainable gifts and organic products that do good for us and our environment. In this sense, our products are gifts to nature, to flora and fauna, and—above all—to you.
This promise is both a claim and a vision – and the starting point for everything we do:
When we talk to our customers, we always have a smile on our faces. You can even hear it ;-).
When we develop new products, we always approach them with great care and attention. Our goal isn't to bring the umpteenth gift to market, but rather to create well-designed products that are sustainable and do good. We want to do the right thing: for our animal friends, for our environment, and for our loved ones, to whom we want to show our appreciation. That's why our products are composed in the most resource-efficient way possible, are made from environmentally friendly raw materials, and are, whenever possible, recyclable or upcyclable.
We focus on inclusive and handmade production and want everyone to be involved in the creation and making of our products. That's why we have our products manufactured in workshops for people with disabilities.
Ultimately, we want to promote environmentally conscious consumer behavior and offer products that do not stand in the way of species protection and animal welfare, but rather promote them.
