5 ideas for crafting with pressed flowers
Making bookmarks
Books and flowers are a perfect match. It immediately brings to mind the thought of lying comfortably with a blanket in a meadow of flowers, immersed in a really good book – so that you simply forget the world around you. The first idea for crafting with flowers is therefore obvious: Create a beautiful bookmark for yourself or your loved ones. You'll need a piece of paper/cardboard, glue (craft glue, napkin glue, spray glue), a laminator, a hole punch, ribbon, and, if necessary, a punch for pretty patterns. The sky's the limit when it comes to designing. Choose the flowers you like best, lay out a pattern on the previously cut paper, and then glue the flowers on. Then you can add a pattern to the edges of the bookmark. Laminate, cut out, and thread a ribbon – done!
Design greeting cards
Greeting cards are a great idea for any occasion. Whether it's for a wedding, Mother's Day , a birthday, a new baby, or just because, your congratulations look especially good on a hand-designed card. You can either buy blank cards to design yourself, or simply cut a suitable greeting card out of cardboard. Then choose the flowers and stick them on, and of course, add your very own personal greeting.

Create a herbarium
A herbarium is a great idea, especially for children, as it allows them to reuse pressed flowers and enjoy them for a long time to come. To create a herbarium, all you need is an empty notebook/notebook/ring binder, and you're ready to go. Each page is devoted to a specific flower. You stick the pressed flower in there and collect further information about the plant. You get the information from the internet, books, or by observing the living object (how long is the stem? When does the flower bloom? What color, shape?). The information can either be written next to it, drawn, or glued. As you can see, there are so many ways to create a herbarium, so just let your creativity run wild. The great thing is: with a herbarium, you learn something about local plants and can admire the beautiful pressed flowers again and again.
Create murals
These flowers are guaranteed not to wilt! Instead of hanging in a vase on the table, flowers are now hung directly on the wall. This looks beautiful and creates a wonderful ambiance! Here, too, the motto is: Be creative and design the pictures exactly as you wish. A picture frame isn't absolutely necessary, but it's also a possibility. A saying about flowers completes the artwork.

Making jewelry
Decorating your body with flowers? Great idea! Pressed flowers are also perfect for making jewelry. You can buy materials for making your own necklaces, earrings, and bracelets at craft stores. The crafting is usually quite simple—only choosing which flower to use for the pendant can be a real pain ;-)
