Golden carrot and garlic rice

You need these ingredients (2 people):
- 2 onions
- 2.5 cloves of garlic
- 4 carrots
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 160 g Basmati rice
- 5g coriander , fresh
- 30g hazelnut kernels, whole
- 2 tbsp turmeric
- Salt
- pepper
- 300 ml water
- 1/2 lemon(s)

All the ingredients ready? Then let's get started!
- Peel and grate carrots.
- Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices.
- Peel and chop the onion.
- Heat some oil in a pot and roast the turmeric for 1 minute.
- Add carrots and onion. Fry for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add garlic and stir well.
- Add rice and stir.
- Add water and cook with the lid closed over medium heat for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cut the lemon into wedges.
- Wash the coriander , shake it dry and chop it finely.
- Roast hazelnuts in a pan without oil over medium heat. Let cool briefly.
- Roughly chop the hazelnuts.
- Serve rice with lemon and roasted hazelnuts and enjoy.
