Culture duration
The cultivation period is the period from sowing to the ripening of the fruit of a plant, i.e. the time from the start of growth to harvest. Sometimes it is still too early for the main crop, or the harvest is even already over, even though the weather conditions were favorable for growing something. In these cases, fast-growing vegetables are ideal for filling in growing gaps! In spring, for example, radishes grow very quickly and quickly produce bountiful harvests that also taste great! But leafy salads, such as the fast-growing arugula, can also be harvested after a short time (a few weeks). These vegetables grow rapidly, but they clear the garden just as quickly.
