Homemade curd bread
A homemade bread, fresh from the oven, topped with cheese, radishes, and chives . Close your mouth, the water is running out ;) Many thanks for this recipe from our cooperation partner Quäse.
You need these ingredients for a bread
Ingredients for the dough
- 200 g wholemeal wheat or spelt flour
- 200 g mixed nuts (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts)
- 300 g oat flakes
- 1 cube of fresh yeast or 1 1⁄2 packets of dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 500 ml water
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Flour to line the mold
Ingredients for the topping
- 2 thick slices of mild curd cheese
- 2 radishes
- 1 tbsp chives
- 1 tbsp cottage cheese
All the ingredients ready? Then let's get started!
- Dissolve the yeast in the water. Add the flour, salt, and vinegar and knead with a hand mixer for 3 minutes, then add the remaining ingredients and knead again.
- Immediately place the dough into a greased and floured loaf pan, sprinkle with a few seeds and bake for 50-60 minutes at 200°C (top and bottom heat).
- Cut a slice from the cooled bread, spread with cottage cheese, place slices of radish and curd cheese on top and sprinkle with chives.
That's it. So what are you waiting for? Turn on the oven, get the flour out, and let's get started. The city gardeners wish you bon appetit!
