Upcycling of packaging
Anti throwaway society, pro upcycling
For us, old doesn't mean useless, and junk doesn't mean residual waste! We've been exploring topics like DIY and upcycling on our blog for a long time, and we strive to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible, not only in our personal lives but also with our products. Admittedly, this isn't always easy, and the greenest path isn't always the easiest. Nevertheless, the environment is a matter close to our hearts. That's why we do our best every day to make the world a little greener with the help of our growing products! This starts with the content, continues with production, and continues with the raw materials and materials used...
Recycle packaging sensibly
But that's not all! We think it's high time we went one step further. The idea didn't come out of nowhere; it grew out of the question: What actually happens to packaging after use? The answer: Most of the time, it's probably thrown away, meaning it ends up in the landfill. We don't want to allow that to happen! So we sat down and took a close look at our product packaging, or rather, we're still in the process of doing so.
So the question is: Where is the potential for recycling? How can the jars from our wish-fulfillment boxes , the cans from our bedding meadows , and the jute bags from our seed bombs be meaningfully reused?
You don't have to answer that, but you do! We'd like to give you various creative ideas on how you can reuse our packaging after use and how you can breathe new life into it with simple upcycling ideas instead of simply throwing it away. Because they're truly too good to throw away!
Our appeal: Participate instead of producing waste!
